We want RentWise to be usable by people with different devices, abilities, and browsing preferences. This page describes implemented features and how to report a problem; it is not a claim of independently certified accessibility conformance.
Features in this release
Pages use descriptive headings, semantic navigation, and a skip-to-content link. Calculator fields have visible labels and relevant explanatory text. Interactive elements have keyboard focus styles. Calculator results use a live region so changes can be announced by assistive technology.
FAQs use native expandable details controls. Tables have column and row headings and can scroll horizontally on small screens. Decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology, and meaningful illustrations have alternative text. Layouts adapt to narrow screens, and reduced-motion preferences are respected.
Working without JavaScript
Articles, formulas, examples, and navigation are present in the generated HTML. Calculator pages display an illustrative default result without JavaScript, with a notice that JavaScript is required to change it. Dynamic filtering and scenario calculations require JavaScript.
Known limits and reporting
Browser, screen reader, zoom, and operating-system combinations can behave differently. Automated checks cannot establish that every combination is accessible. We welcome reports of unclear labels, focus problems, contrast issues, unusable controls, or content that is difficult to understand.
Use our contact page and include the page URL, the task you were trying to complete, the barrier encountered, and your browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it. Do not include sensitive financial information.
